Holiday Homestay
Programs We offer 3 types of HOLIDAY Homestay Programs. Our Teacher-Host, Mentor-Host and Spa-Host Programs are for adults, or adults with their children. Single or Groups are welcome. These package programs can be used as incentives, by employers who want to reward their employees. Companies sponsor these programs for their employees because people are their most valuable resource. All Holiday Homestay packages are tailored to individual needs and interests. Recreation, and sightseeing can be added to all packages. Spa treatments can be included in both the Teacher-Host and Mentor-Host Programs. Spa services increase employee productivity and reduce absenteeism. Happy, healthy well-rested employees are more alert, make fewer mistakes and have fewer accidents on the job. Mothers choose a Specialty homestay for themselves, while their children are enjoying their own ESL cultural experience in a school nearby. These package programs include 3 meals per day. |

Definition Teacher-Hosts are professionally trained, experienced educators who provide: - English or French language lessons - “traditional” homestay accommodation in their own homes - to individual or small groups of international business people, professionals and career-minded young adults.
Locations Teacher-Hosts are available in British Columbia and SouthWestern Ontario
The Hosts Teacher-Hosts are selected for their professional qualifications and experience, for their warmth, hospitality and eagerness to provide our international visitors with a complete Canadian cultural experience. Their homes are inspected for suitability before referrals are made to them.
Matching Teacher-Hosts are matched with clients who have interests similar to their own interests, and with whom they will most likely have an immediate good rapport. We ask that the client complete our application form in full detail. The more information the client provides on the application form, the greater is our likelihood of assigning the right teacher to the right client.
Fees Teacher-Host fees depend on: -the number of weeks of homestay to be provided -and, the number of hours of language lessons and other services to be received by the client. Other services would include teacher-guided sight-seeing and a variety of recreational activities such as golfing, hiking, tennis, skiing, arts and crafts.
There are other in-home language learning programs. Why should you choose our Teacher-Host Program? Here are 5 reasons: 1. Only experienced teachers with very high professional qualifications and special personal qualities are selected for our Teacher-Host program. Their homes are well above average in size and luxury. 2. Many of our Teacher-Hosts own homes that are large enough to accommodate small groups of clients. You can bring your family or friends! 3. The program is tailored to the needs of the client or clients. 4. Our basic programs are less expensive than others on the market. The client is able to control the cost and direction of his program. Although we highly recommend teacher-guided sight-seeing, as an excellent way to learn language, we give this choice to the client. We do not automatically add costs for sightseeing or other recreational activities. The client can choose to do sight-seeing independently, if he wishes. 5. At the end of their “stay,” every client we have served, has felt successful and has had a wonderful holiday! They have improved their conversational skills. Their own written comments prove this!

Definition Mentor-Hosts – are professionals and business people who have had many years of experience in a specific career that the client would like to pursue or a skill that the client would like to improve. Mentor–Hosts provide -“traditional” homestay accommodation
Locations Hosts are available in British Columbia and SouthWestern Ontario.
The Hosts Mentor-Hosts are selected for their warmth, hospitality and eagerness to extend a hand in friendship to our English speaking neighbours. Their references are checked and their homes are inspected for suitability.
Matching Mentor-Hosts are matched with clients who have requested a mentor with the specific qualifications they hold. We do our best to match a client to a mentor who shares some of the same recreational interests as the client, too. We hope that this will increase rapport and an opportunity for friendship. It is important for clients to complete all of the questions on our application form in as much detail as possible, to facilitate our matching task.
Fees Mentor-Host fees vary from one client to another. The fees will be determined by the mentoring package requested, as well as the additional expense of any Mentor-Host sight-seeing and recreational activities. The mentor will provide an outline of the program he or she has designed; however, it will be “tailored” according to the client’s request, before the cost is confirmed.

| Spa-Host Program |

Our Spa-Host Program is for anyone who wants to spend some leisure hours being pampered with spa services in a home environment. A registered massage and / or certified spa therapist will come to you, in your host’s home. A holistic coach is available to counsel those interested in learning about “wellness”. Spa-Host Programs are recommended for those hard-working adult guests who want to return to their jobs totally refreshed and rejuvenated.
The Hosts Your Canadian host will ensure that your private bedroom and bathroom are a peaceful, comfortable refuge. Your spa experience will be by a registered massage and /or certified spa therapist. Draping shall be used during all sessions. Client’s privacy will be respected at all times. ***Note – This is not an escort service. Do not ask for sexual favours. If you request sexual favours from the massage therapists or if they feel threatened or uncomfortable in any way from your behaviour, they have the right to terminate the massage and you will be held liable for the entire fee. You agree to this, by booking an appointment through us.
